^Overview

CNC flame cutting machines continue to play an important part in industry. Heating and cutting gases are controlled by the CNC and a rapid pre-heating system is specified as standard on both machines to minimise plate pre-heating times. Propane or Acetylene are the most commonly selected fuel gases, although other fuel gases can be specified. Long series cutting torches with long lasting nozzles are specified on these ranges of machines.

Optional accessories include an automatic torch ignition system for allowing remote lighting of cutting torches - particularly useful on larger machines. Capacitive torch height controls ensure that the nozzle is always kept at the optimum distance from the plate which gives optimum cut quality - of course the torch raises between cuts for fast traverse moves and raises when piercing the plate after pre-heating.
